The dilemma of energy industry became a social threat! Working for more than four decades in the energy industry, in the Eastern European area I’m looking with deep frustration on the evolution of my beloved profession from being a top one to be the most controversial nad sometimes even blamed one!
My first reaction was really there is a shame or what at the end, where we are today in the minds of the ordinary citizens from across the whole continent! The second was triggered by a series of article on LinkedIn in which the authors explained in 5-6 bullet points the overall solution for the energy industry Bermuda triangle: accessibility -sustainability -reliability. Oh brother…this is really emabarassing…the whole crap was build up in decades trough a series of political decisions serving the 4-5 years cycles of election in an industry which needs deep thisnking and road maps for 10-20 years in advance.And as it is ,the past could be changed but the unknown future we have to dig deep first in this multiple universe past trying to make the differences between nice falsehoods and painful truths!
And only afterwards we will be able to see the real root causes of our painful present in this energy industry.
I would encourage you let start to make an inventory of these decisions first and than let’s draw a dreamed vision for our Bermuda triangle!
